How to delete 'Collection'

Every time I start MM it loads the previous Collection which I had more than
700 pictures. This takes a while. Is there a way I can stop this step?
 
Hello,

Simply select all of the entries by selecting just one of them and then press
CTRL-A and then right clicking them and selecting DELETE
