How to Delete a grouping section?

Can anybody tell me how to get rid of a sorting/grouping section? I'm trying to create a simplified summary report based on a more detailed one, so I've made a copy of the original one to base the new report on, but I would like to get rid of alot of the sections

The Edit Groupings/Sortings window seems to let you do anything except delete a section once you've entered it. I've tried right-clicking everywhere, but no luck. I've found that the SQL query is unaffected by the grouping/sorting, so I wasn't able to fix things by changing that, either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Click the mouse in the little gray record selector (the
cursor becomes a right arrow) at the left edge of the
Sorting and Grouping window, then hit the Delete key.
AFAIK, this is the only way to delete a group level.
 
THANK YOU! That did it!
I had been pressing the [Backspace] key to no avail. I come from a Macintosh background and on that platform there are no separate keys for [Backspace] and [Delete], so I didn't think to look for one
