I visited a three-day free trial site and now a window popup frequently
asking for membership.

I delete its cookie but it appears automatically after a while again.
How can I get rid of it permanently?

how to delete a cookie permanently?

By running the three malaware apps reccommended by MS in the section re how
to keep safe
ie MS Defender
Adaware
Spybot
Your sys is infected, other than by a cookie

Thanks for your reply.
I tried once one of such site (not Microsoft) but it didn't help me. It was
more of try to sell its product rather cleaning my system.
How is the case with Microsoft? Will it clean my system?

I download and install Windows Live OneCare.
I find and delete some viruses but the cookie problem still exits. Do you
recommend to download other MS softwares or they have same effect?

I dont use Live One so cannot comment on it
Malaware which is what you have, is different to a virus. Anti Virus apps
often dont detect malaware
Download update and run both
Adaware Personal, free version, http://www.lavasoft.nu/
and Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
I assume Live One features MS Defender, if it doesnt, download that also.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
Also see

If your further concerned with virus you can run online scans at both,
Symantec and Trend Micro sites
NB Niether may detect malaware.

You recommend to download and run "Adaware Personal and Spybot".
Will they only report the problem (as in many commercial softwares) or will
they also repair (delete or ...) my system for free?

Both are recommended / linked to on MS site.
They will not report back
They will allow you to delete what is found
They are not time limited demos, nor do they nag you purchase anything.
Both supply udated deffinition files regularly, this process is not
automatic
