I was wondering if there was any way to default powerpoint 2003 to
automatically Print Handouts for every new and already made document opened
on that computer. I work in a Library and we have the problem of people
printing powerpoints that are 60 slides in length 1 slide to a page. We want
to alieviate this problem by setting the default to 6 slide handouts. Any
way you can help?

You can do it easily on a Document level - Tools\Options\Print\ Use the
following print settings.... etc
This will travel with the document and the defaul for that document.

A better option for you might be to produce a macro with the print settings
you want selected - this can be created into a seperate print button or
shortcut key.

Yeah, we're aware of how to do it at the Document Level, I wanted to know if
there was any way to do it at the powerpoint level, so that it ALWAYS
defaults to handouts, instead of slides. I know how to change it to do it
for all newly made ones, but it doesn't carry those settings over to already
made powerpoints.

The best way to handle this is to apply a group policy on the machine. Ask
your IT admin to take a look at the Office Resource Kit which is downlable.
You will find instructions to set the defaults for various office dialogs
including the print options.
