How can I decipher which disk (or volume) is being referenced in the event
log when "Disk" (source) reports an error?
Example:
"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\DR0. "
Which is Harddisk0?
First Drive on IDE 1?
Which is DR0?
First Partition?
I'm a bit confused, because I recently had some "Disk" errors with
"\Harddisk0\DR0", and turned out to be my ZIP drive, which is Slave on
IDE2... and judging from the date/time of this current error, I believe it
was generated with a problem reading a CD in optical drive, which is Master
on IDE2.
TIA,
Chris
