I can create new folders on root level to group my emails in hotmail.

However I cannot create sub-folders as far as I can see.

Did I miss something?

If this is somehow possible: How exactly?

Camille,

Contact Hotmail Support would be your best option

If you're using Outlook then ask someone in the Outlook group...

After clicking New Folder, click the folder one level higher than the
current folders; it might be named "My Folders", or similar.. I don't
have a Hotmail account and can't remember the exact wording..

Standard method is:
1. Select (highlight) the folder to which you want to add
a subfolder.
2. From menu bar use / File / Folder / New

If this does not work, repost here saying what happens.

I have never seen the ability to create sub-folders for email storage in
webmail.

They let you create user-defined folders is all.

It's not "Outlook Express".

But you should really be posting your question to :

microsoft.public.msn.discussion

Be leery of advice from a SPAMMER. They have a different agenda than
their pretense of giving help. This one does know how to put his spam
in a signature as evidenced by his first posts but refuses to do so now
because he is scared of newsreaders that strip off signatures. He wants
to ensure to shove his spam in your face.
