How to create sections.

I want one simple thing, that is to devide my document into sections. But
after reading throug endless forum threads no-one manages to give a simple
answer to this problem. All I want is to devide my document into three
sections, the start, the main part and the apendix. Word has somehow already
devided my document at some random place and I cant remove this... This
simple problem is driving me crazy! Hope anyone has a simple step by step
quide on how to create sections please:)
 
You need to pose your question to a Word newsgroup and not to Microsoft
Access, a relational database application.
