I would like to set up a clean hardware profile so that my machine
rescans
the hardware when I boot into it the first time.
I have seen references where people mention to pick "None of the
Above" from
the profile list, but my machine does not show that option. It only
shows
the profiles I have created.
What is the trick or registry hack to get it to show the "None of the
Above"?
Is there another way to create a profile, then clean it up so that W2K
will do a hardware rescan when it boots?
I am hoping this approach will help me be successful in setting up an
existing W2K
installation to boot under VMWare on a Linux Host. I am have a couple
device
problems.
Thank You
