How to create a New text effect?

So how and what are some other ways to create a "text effect" other then word
art? That anyone knows of?

I would like some sort of a different look for logo's and Page headings?
Also to create headings and such? The different and depth look is nice, also
for the option of changing the text direction differently from same spacing
and vertical and horizontal alignment.

Which image editing program do you have? FP can't do that. Never use FP for
any image editing!! Especially resizing etc.

Create a new empty web to use as a test web.
Open a new page.
Create the word art effect you want and then take a screenshot.
Use an image editor to edit your screenshot and cut out the parts you want and save it as an image, either .jpg or .gif.
Use the image(s) on your "real" web page.

Use an image editor, and create your text effects, then save as a gif or
jpeg and insert the picture.
With many programs these days you can do a lot more than what Word Art
offers in terms of effects.
