You can't do what you want, not all at once. Many drive imaging programs
can create a full image of your operating system, but none of them will
then let you boot into it and use it. Nor can you boot up the image DVD
and explorer it. The best you can do is make an image that can be browsed
and viewed while Windows is running, or booted and restored from if
something fails.

Dear all,
as titled!
1. how to create a full C: drive image ?
2. how to create a bootable DVD so that after boot, the NTFS drives can
be
seen? And then recover C: using the saved disk image?
Thanks for any kind of help!
Rgds,
If you don't own an imaging program, you may be eligible for a free OEM
version of Acronis True Image, if you own a Seagate or Western Digital hard
drive. Seagate has "Disk Wizard" and WD uses "MaxBlast5". They are available
for download at there respective web sites. Both will image your C drive and
let you create a boot disk for restoring this image. I use Acronis TI myself
and can format, install an image and recover from a corrupted Vista
installation and be back at the desktop in 10 or 12 minutes.
