I'm currently working in a network environment. My
question is how can I create an ERD onto the hard drive in
Windows 2000 Advance Server? The floppy drive on the
server is going bad and I wanted to save it to the hard
drive and use another servers floppy drive to place it on
a floppy.

Thanks,
Kim

Simple do a System state backup to a file (If you want, you can delete the
file).
This backs up the registry and the logged on users ntuser.dat to the
%systemroot%\repair\regback folder, the same as creating an ERD.

The actual ERD only contains:
setup.log - from the %SystemRoot%\repair folder.
autoexec.nt - from the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder.
config.nt - from the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder
