I am receiving email attachments from clients that are titled "Untitled.dat"
instead of the original file name, such as "radiospot.mp3". How do I correct
this in Outlook 2002? I have the latest security updates installed. This
occurs on more than one PC in the office.

Does this also happen when they get the message send to them in Plain Text?

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

I have determined that the problem exists when sending with RTF as the
format. Once the file has been wrapped in RTF, it cannot be "unwrapped". The
file will play, but there is no association for it, so our user has to right
click, etc. Very not friendly procedure. The client is unsure how to change
the setting (duh) and claims it a problem on our end. This is happening more
often lately leading me to believe it's occurring after users update Outlook.
M$ job security issue ;-)
