Thanks, Ramesh
I have four users set up on my XP system at home. My ISP
is Cox, and each user has a separate cox.net email
account. Unfortunately, when Cox installed the cable
modem and did the initial set up of the email, they
incorrectly set up the "primary" email account under a
name that none of use want to use; so we set up four
email accounts correctly, with the intention of never
using the one that was incorrectly set up.
I just installed the XP system on a new computer, and
when I get to the Welcome screen it shows all four
users. However, under my user name, it indicates I have
x number of email, and hovering over the email notice
shows that it is actually referencing two separate email
addresses, neither of which is mine: one is the initial
incorrectly set up email account on cox.net, and the
other is another user's cox.net account. The three other
users don't share this problem, and I can't see where
their setup is any different than mine.
How can I get it to just look at my account, and not at
the two accounts that it is currently looking at?
BTW, I have also installed McAfee Spam Guardwith your user account, the given steps helps you can-----Original Message-----
If you are referring to the .NET passport association
remove the incorrect .NET association from your user
profile. Later you can associate the correct passport
with your user account. If this is not the problem you're
facing, reply back with the exact description of the
issue you're facing.message news:[email protected]...--

I haven't tried that yet, but I can see how that may get
rid of the incorrect association that currently exists.
But the other part of my problem is how do I establish
the correct email association?
