how to correct an error I made with Epson Stylus Color 580??

I accidentally reinstalled the old black ink cartridge after changing
cartridges. Now, instead of the software showing the black as empty, it
reads full. How can I override this so I can change the cartridge as the
software won't let me change it now.

Look in the manual for the way to move the cartridges to the
changing position.
