Once you have setup one folder with the columns, sort, reading pane to the right, etc. (all the settings under "customize view"), it is tiresome to have to do it again for another folde

Is there a way copy the setup of one folder to others or all, like you can do with normal window folders? In help there is mentioned a "Copy folder design" item that should be available, but I can't find this item anywhere. It is not in the folder menu under the filemenu.

I am working on .PST file that came from Outlook 2002 and was perhaps even started in an earlier version of Outlook. Could that be a limitation in this regard? If so, how can I change it, so that I get a new .PST file

Regards

No you can't directly copy a view. You can however change your view by
View-> Arrange By-> Current View-> Define Views and then edit the Messages
view. When you change the view this way all folders that are using the
(unmodified) Messages view will be changed as well.
