My huge address book is in my worl net and my net administrator is helpless
to find it. I have onother computer at home and do not want to waste my time
to move address book by typing new one.
How can I export MS Outlook 2000 address book for the pupose to import it in
my home computer?

I think you should be able to export the address book when your in your
address book to a file. Then go over to the new pc and import that address
file in to your address book.

Good luck

Also do a search on Google you might find something.

Thank you. I do believe, that I should be able. Unfortunately I do not
succeed yet. Could you please show me in a way of steps I should proceed,
like File->Import and Export -> ...
Thank you in advance

Incorrect.
There is no separate Address Book in Outlook.
Importing and Exporting is a poor choice for transferring Outlook data.
Simply copy your Outlook data file. Then open it in the other installation.
The file you need to copy is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where
all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup:

Thank you Valentine for professional explanation. That's exactly what I was
looking for. Your confirmation about specific of Outlook data integrity is
what I have had in my feeling but not in my experience, because in Windows
system parametrisation field my experience might be charaterised as "Two
fingers expert" :)
Have a nice day. It is brill how ordinary man like me might find support
from the others via nowaday technologies. I melt from satisfaction to be in
internet world community.
