I want to be able to transfer updates on my contact files from my laptop to
my desktop how do i apply this? I am in sales just started new job want to be
able to let wife work on certain accounts while I work in the field. at the
end of the day be able to update both contact lists. How do I do this?
Help!!! thanks Pt

Export from one and import into the other. Using import merge you
should only get the updates imported.

Luther thanks!! this is probably a simple task for you but I am in sales and
a computer idiot!!! So I ask " how do I pull the info from each computer do I
have to save it somewhere and then pull it when the the merge task requests
it?" Thanks PT

To create the file on computer A,
use menu File|Import Export|BCM and export to a BCM file.

Then transfer the file to computer B using a network shared folder,
mailing it as an attachment, or a floppy disk.

On computer B,
use File|Import Export|BCM and import the BCM data file. In the third
wizard pane, select the radio button update duplicates.

It should now just import and update the items in the file that are
more recently changed than what's in the computer B's BCM database.
