I know I'm gonna sound numb, but once I've clicked copy, how do I paste links
onto the address bar of my browser?

Ctrl C = Copy
Ctrl V = Paste
Ctrl X = Cut

Or you can right click in the browser address bar & click paste.

May get different suggestions. Here's one:

If a browser window is already open, click once in the address bar space to
position the cursor. Then double click to select the URL of the current
page. Press Delete. Then press Ctrl+V to insert the copied URL. Press
enter.

I assume you've selected a web address in the address bar of your browser
and want to paste it into an email; so select the address, Ctrl-C, then go
to the email proram, start a new message, click in the body of the message
and Ctrl-V to paste it into the message.

Right click and paste it where you want it.
