how to convert (.vcd) to other format??

does anyone here know how to extract a .vcd video file
from a vcd and convert it to other format eg. mpeg?
what's the software to do it?
can someone help me please....it's urgent as i need to do
some assignment project to hand up in school.

you will have better luck with the multimedia groups. Even the porno
multimedia groups than you will have here.
