How to convert two-column documents into a single column documents?

I am currently using 2007 Word. I recently received two column documnts.
I would like to convert them into a standard single column document for
editing.
Please advise me how to convert. Thanks. Jorge
 
On the "Page Layout" tab, you can use the "Columns" button to select the
number of columns you want a section to be.

Thank you. When I clicked the single column button, the first page only
converted into single column.
I could not find "select all" button or tool bar. That would allow to
convert all pages into single column easily. Could you point me where to
find it? Jorge.
