W Winnie Feb 1, 2010 #1 Is there anyway to "Copy" a horizontal row in Excel and "Paste" it as a vertical column in Excel?
T trip_to_tokyo Feb 1, 2010 #3 1. In EXCEL 2007 in cells A 21 to E 21 I type:- a b c d e (one letter in each cell). 2. Highlight cells A 21 to E 21 inclusive. 3. Ctrl-C to copy. 4. Go to cell I 8 for example (this can be any cell you like). 5. Home / Paste / Transpose The letters a to e inclusive will now appear in cells I 8 to I 12 inclusive. Is the above what you want? If it is please click Yes. Thanks.
