How to convert an existing show to a presentation?

I have a powerpoint show (PPS format) that I want to convert and save in
presentation format (PPT). Does any one know how to do that? Please reply
to (e-mail address removed).

Open PowerPoint. Go to File | Open and choose the PPS. Now do a File | Save
As and save as a PPT file. (Make sure it says "Presentation," not
"PowerPoint Show" in the "save as type" dropdown in the File | Save As
dialog box.)

You can also rename the file in a Windows Explorer window, but you need to
make sure you have turned on the file extensions first. Make Windows show
