how to convert a PowerPoint file to a Publisher file

I am helping a non-profit organization with a brochures. A past employee
created the brochure inside (legal size paper, landscape) as a PowerPoint
file (the outside page was done in Publisher and doesn't change each year as
the inside part does).
I need to convert it to Publisher format and be able to edit it in
Publisher. Is this possible? I am working with version 2007 of both
programs.
