How to connect via wireless conection two PCs with a single owner for both when one is running on Wi

Hi

How to connect via wireless conection two PCs , with a single owner and a
single live ID for both, when one is running on Windows XP Home SP3 an the
other runs on Windows Vista SP1?

Thank you a million, It is a lot of information that is going to take me a
while to comprehend since english is not my native language, but I'm getting
into it.
I do have a router/modem to conect to Internet, but eaven dough I can see
each Pc on the other, in windows explorer->network places, I have no
permision rights to acces the folders and files shered on each.
I'll let you know when I've goten my Vista Pc and XP Pc togeder on the same
wireless line.

Be sure that in Vista, the network is identified as *private*, rather than
as public. Also, make sure that both systems have accounts with matching
usernames and passwords. It doesn't matter if you're logged into that
account.
