We are running an ERP solution on Windows2K Server from
our HO.Our local points are connected through dial-up
connections or leased lines. We have taken a 128kbps DSL
line to connect our server to the net. Now we can access
the application on the net.But security is an issue.

Is there an economical way to connect to our server
through the internet? What about VPN and how it can be
installed?

There are a couple ways you cold do this. Your router may be able to be
configured as a PPTP server. If so, you can probably setup VPN connections
from remote, Internet connected computers to the router.

If not, then does your Win2k server have a private or a public IP? If it is
public, you can use it as a PPTP server and connect to it.
