My Pentium-4 system does not have a port to connect Sidewinder joystick. What
do I do?

You can find Gameport to USB adapters at your local Mall,
or some people install a cheap soundcard with a Gameport
however I don't recommend either of those methods.

First you're not guaranteed that the game controller will be
detected and function properly. Force feedback support
of course is not possible when using a converter.

Lastly, it only costs a few dollars more for a USB joystick.
The hassle and fuss just isn't worth it to try and hang on to
the old stick. That's just my opinion, the choice is yours. :-)

Thanks Jimmy,

I think I would rather go in for a new joystick with USB support.

Good choice Samy!

Make sure you buy one which has an XP installation CD. :-)

Jimmy.
