Dear all

How to configure Windows XP to use other image viewer like
Microsoft Office Photos Editor to open the JPEG and TIFF file ?

I have configured the following way (Hold the Ctr button and right
click the image file , then select the option of "Open with "and then select
the program of photo editor from the list)

It work only when those files have been saved in the harddisk.
When I try to open those files from emai directly. The system
prompt for unrecognized file type ( so the user need to save those files
and open the files)

Any way to solve this problem completely?
Thanks

Have you tried the following?

In windows explorer click the "tools" menu and select "folder options". Now
click the File Types tab. Scroll down the list to the file extension you
wish to modify. ie- JPG,TIF etc. Highlight it and click the "Change" button.
Select the program you wish to use and hit OK. Do the same for each
extension. Let us know how you get along. Good Luck
