Hello:

I'm a new laptop user and therefore new to being able to work offline. I
think I may not understand the process. I'd like to be able to have specific
folders that are located within MyDocuments (which is located on the network)
available offline. However, when I set MyDocuments to be available offline,
all subfolders are then set for offline usage. I tried selecting the
specific folders, clicking on File, Make folder available offline to uncheck,
but it is checked and grayed out.

Also, it seems that Access files cannot be made available offline as I
receive an error when I try synchronizing. Is this correct?

Example of Folder Set Up--

Network Drive (available Offline)
My Documents (available Offline)
Access (available offline, want it changed to NOT available offline)
MyPictures (available offline, want it changed to NOT available
offline)

Using Windows XP.

Thank you.

Hi Victoria,

If you already have My Documents (which is on a network drive) set as an
OL folder, that's why the subfolders are grayed out. Stop all OL folder
syncing, then start over selecting only the network folders you want to
use as OL folders, not the entire MD folder. It will then place copies
of the network folders on your laptop to be available offline.
