HOW TO: Configure and Use Automatic Updates in Windows 2000

Hi all,

we are using win 2K, AD & GPOs, we also have win NT 4.0
workstations. How can I deploy the MS security patches to
windows NT 4.0 workstations from the server?!

You cannot use Group Policy with NT 4.0. A good option for pushing out
patches to all flavours of OS is Microsoft's SUS Server which is a free
download.

SUS can not push updates to anything Windows NT and below.
Only W2k and above.
(Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of.)
