How to configure 2003 to not cache specific folders?

I am looking at ways to prevent SPAM from reaching the 2003 cache but still
be in the users' Exchange mbx?

It looks like I could filter the folder but then I think the user will not
see any of the content at all unless they go online.

Any ideas please?

Tools-> Options-> Mail Setup-> Send/Receive-> Edit...

Here you can configure which folders will be cached.

OK...Settings updated, but it still seems to take a copy of the folder into
the cache....and I can read the folder when I force outlook to work offline

Tools -> Send/Receive -> Send/Receive Settings...Make this folder Available
offline is not checked
Screen still says 'connected' at the bottom..

May be relevant - It is of course the Junk E-mail folder.

If you are not filtering at Exchange level than the Junk Email Filter works
at Outlook level meaning the item will be downloaded first and then be moved
by Outlook so in that case the send/receive settings on the Junk Email
folder won't have any effect.
