I have a requirement to have a Bar of Pie and a Pie of Pie in one
Chart.

Assuming there are two slices in the main pie chart I want to explode
one slice as a Pie of Pie and the other slice to be exploded as a bar
of pie.

Is this possible please suggest a solution I am planning to use this
for depicting a profitability analysis statement.

Thanks
Belinda

You finally have asked the question. You can't do this "officially", but
you don't need to let Excel tell you what you can and cannot do. Make
yourself a two-slice pie chart. On one side make another pie chart
depicting the breakdown of one of the original wedges. On the other side
make a stacked bar chart that breaks down the other wedge. Hide whatever
features you don't need (make chart area and plot area invisible: no
border, no area fill), arrange the charts appropriately, and draw a
couple arrows from the central chart to the sidebars.

If you want to be able to export the combined charts (via VBA or Save as
HTML), you can arrange them on a chart sheet instead of a worksheet.
Select a blank cell, press the F11 key to create a blank chart sheet.
Right click on one of the charts you made above, select Location from
the pop up menu, and choose As Object In, and pick the name of the Chart
sheet from the dropdown.
