how to clear pre boot verification with platinum secret

hi, i do have an older acer laptop 613tx and suddently the system asked
for a smart card for the pre boot verification card for the platinum
secret software. however, i do not have the matching card (as i do not
remember to have used this security item at all). however, no the acer
does not start anymore: during boot it asks for the card - and after
three times it not even does the power on. removing the bios-battery
does only help so far, that i have three other tries to insert the
appropriate card. in addition: the boot tool is not located on the hard
disk - but where is it, and how could i solve the problem? please help
- otherwise i would have to through the laptop in the garbage (as acer
asks for around 300 swiss francs (almost 400$). please help. any hints
and solutions are appreciated. thanks

You should have gotten two cards with the laptop.

But there may be a way to disable this thing.

one vulnerability, but eventually you may be able to use it to disable
