How to clear network cache?

I have a network of about 7 computers, and they're all running an inventory
program. When one user goes in and makes changes to inventory items, the
other users can't seem to see the changes until they reboot their computers.
I was talking to the support people for the program, and they never heard of
this problem. Meanwhile, what he said it might be is the computer is
reading the inventory file they have open from cache and not from the
server. He said to clear network cache. Is there a way that I can do this
without having to reboot the computers all the time?

TIA,

Jason
