I have many folders containing thousands of images that I have copied to
several DVDs. Now I want to clear the archive bit on all the files so
that I can start making incremental backups of just the files that change.

Anyone know of a way to do this or a freeby utility?

Right click - Properties - Advanced

That sets the properties of an individual file, I have thousands of
files. I need a way to turn off the archive bit all of them at once.

Open a command prompt and do CD to get into the directory of
interest, then

atrrib -a * /s
