How to change win2k professional into a new name, when it
boots up.
Here is the situation, I have created four partitions.
Each partition is 12GB. I install first partition win2k,
second partition win2k and third win2k.
So Far soo good, but what I need to change is the name
that is saying windows 2000 professional into example

lAB1 ONLY, lAB2 ONLY AND LAB3 ONLY. When I boot the
computer, I am seeing the three partition, and it is
showing all of them the same win2k professional, but I
have rather be able to control the situation, were I can
change the display name on each partition.

any idea, how to go about this. Thank you

You can edit the boot.ini file in the root of C:
This file is marked read only so you will need to remove the read only
bit before you can save your changes.
