I got the error msg--- Low
Virtual Memory in my computer in the morning since I
didn't turn off PC and then I had to power off to reboot
my machine(I don't why it happened at night). I used
Control Panel|Performance Options to change the virtual
memory from 192MB to the recommended size 381MB (maximum
is 384MB). I rebooted my PC but I couldn't start it.
Is it possible to change the virtual memory size back?
I can boot the machine and get into Dos. I am still
working on setting up windows. Please Help!

Thanks,
Rebecca

That isn't the problem. If you post the details of what happens when you try
then someone may be able to help you.

I rebooted my PC after changing the virtual memory size
and got the following msg:

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt:

Winnt_root\System32\Ntoskrnl.exe

Please re-install a copy of the above file.

Currently I can boot the machine but can't set up the
windows (I downloaded and installed SP4 in my pc but my
windows 2000 CD is with SP1). I tried to repair the
windows installation but failed.
