There must be a way to change the toolbar color from yellow to something else
like blue or green? How?

Hi jjb,

I am going to take the opportunity to promote my own software here.

I have a realy neat tool - 'Internet Explorer Theme Manager'

http://www.iecustomizer.com/iethemedownload.htm

'Themes' in this case refers to combinations of Toolbar skins, Throbbers
(the animation on the trhs of IE), documents skins and search settings that
you selectively apply to mix and match the IE interface.

Its shareware but you get 20 startups before you have to register to
continue usage. The setup includes a Free Theme Search Explorer bar that you
can download other free Themes from the site.

If you just visit http://www.iecustomizer.com there are some sample free
themes that you can download and install (uninstall included) without the
need for the Theme Manager Software.

The other way to change the Toolbar color in IE is to right-click on your
desktop and select Properties from the drop-down menu. On the Appearance tab
(XP machines) select the Advanced button and then select 3D Objects from the
Item list and choose its color.

On non XP machines select the Appearance tab and then choose 3D Objects from
the Item list. etc...

Hi jjb :-)

Please help us help you by providing the version of Windows you are using.
Which toolbar you are talking about?
