Hi,

I'm using the Windows XP home edition (Chinese).

I want to change the windows default fonts to "Times New
Roman".

But I don't know how to do this.

So, please help.

THX in advance.
Best Regards,
Tommy

Hi Tommy,

This will change most of them. Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this
key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes

In the right pane, change the Font Name for: MS Shell Dlg and MS Shell Dlg
2. Close regedit.

Then right click the Desktop/Properties/Appearance/Advanced/
Icon and set the same Font Name there. Ok your way out, then reboot.

Go Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Advance button. Then choose which
elements you'd like to change the font for in the Item drop list.
