How to change the starting value of the form the autonumber?

I have a form and each record has a inpection no.
but since my inspection start at 1000, it 's different
from the autonumber shown in the botton bar of the form
which has a starting value of zero.
I would like to ask if I can change the starting value of
the form to start from the number I assign?????

The number shown in the navigation bar at the foot of a displayed form
has nothing to do with anything in your records. It is just a
generated number showing where you are in the current selection of
records. You cannot change the numbers shown there. You can switch
the feature off in the Form's properties.
