Hi Arsalan
I've run Ad-Aware (with the latest definition file) but its not giving
anything. Where do IE store its search page link ?
You do have a hijacker that is hijacking your home page. You need to follow
through with ALL of the steps and instructions listed in the information
that Don has provided for you. It is best to clean the parasites and other
scumware from your system prior to running your hijack this log. However,
if you choose to forego these steps, then you can run the HiJackThis program
and post your log to one of these site for the experts there to evaluate
your log and make recommendations for the necessary corrections to properly
clean your system.
As for the Search page, there should be a Search button on your IE toolbar.
Click that and a small window area should appear to the left of your screen.
Drag the screen open wider and then entry what you want into the small
search space.
I strongly advise you to follow the information provided for you here by all
to properly clean your system before it gets worse.
If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
Hope this helps
Jan
