Happy to answer but please make it easier by making an effort to tell us
which version of PowerPoint.
Easiest way is to rest your mouse pointer over the cell or row boundary and
drag it. Note there is a Distribute Rows Evenly and a Distribute Columns
Evenly buttons on the Tables and Borders toolbar (PowerPoint 2003).

In addition to what Glen has suggested it is also a good idea to use the
text area of your message file and not just the subject line, as information
gets chopped off after x number of characters.
