I just got a hand me down Dell computer, and the right click menu has
"Browse with Paint Shop Pro 7", which is not the program I'd want to browse
with especially since it's 30 day trial version that because of it's
location I initiated.

I don't understand what you mean by "that because of it's location I
initiated" but 1) uninstall the program from Add/Remove Programs. That
should remove the right-click context entry. If you had a bad uninstall
and the right-click entry still remains, then you can remove it with
the free ShellExView:

Hi,

Locate the corresponding registry key containing the offending string and
remove it. These keys can be checked:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\OpenWithList
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

If you need help getting to the regrsitry "Secret Squirrel," go to RUN (by
defualt it's in the start menu). And type regedit.

Thanks to everyone for the info.

Since it's a 30 day trial version and since I have no plans of purchasing at
the end of 30 days, I will remove the whole program first.

Once I remove it, what should become the default "Browse with" program?
And how did this get set? Did the software place itself there?

Because the "Browse with function", was the trial version software my
clicking on it started the trial version.

I'll wait until the trial is up, and then remove it.
