Dan
I have an issue with a 2k Server (AD/Domain Controller)
where it has all of a sudden started giving the following
errors relating to the Message Queueing service.
Event view gives:
Event id - 2121
Unable to complete Message Queuing Setup. Hresult-
c00e0075h
Event id - 2124
Message Queuing was unable to join the local Windows 2000
domain. Hresult- c00e0075h
Now i have found mention of this here
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;839929
While it does say it is by design it does not explain why
it has started occuring all of a sudden.... NOR how to fix
the issue.
The service it self is not really used... though obviously
it is causing dramas as some apps and system config areas
seem to need it (ie bringing up the default first site
gives an error... due to the MSMQ not being joined to the
domain... hence no access).
Should i uninstall the Message Queueing services in
Windows "windows components" add/remove? and then
reinstall it? Will this work? Any side affects or
possible other problems?
It seems to be causing issue with the Veritas Backup
service(s) which now fail to start since this issue.
Though after a "phsyical" login at the actual machine they
have strangely started (before i was trying via term serv)
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Danny
