How to change Documentation setting in Word

I am using Word 97 at work. For some reason, everytime I close the Word program, it would ask me if I want to save the changes I made in 2 templates (I assume they are templates) that I don't even know existed. This happens even if I just open Word and close the program without doing anything. I searched these 2 files in my drive and it came up empty.

If anyone knows how I can get rid of these I would really appreciated

Thanks.

What are the template file names? They might be in hidden folders that your
search won't find unless you tell it to search hidden folders and files.
You can go into Windows Explorer, click "Tools", "Folder Options" (might be
under "View" menu depending on the Windows version), click the "View" TAB,
and check the "Show hidden files and folders" option, then try your search
again.

I found out what those two "templates" are. They are some custom Wird toolbars that were somehow created when I got my PC. What I have done so far was to "save the changes" for them and they no longer appear within Word. However, these tool bars still appear when the Explorer opens the Word Doc within Explorer. I would have to uncheck the toolbars in order to remove them. They seem to be set "on" by default. What are the ways to turn them off?? These "tool bars" have no content, so I need to get rid of them.

Thanks!

You can click "Tools", "Templates and add-ins", click the "Organizer"
button. Click the "Toolbars" TAB to see what the toolbars are, selecting
them, then deleting them. Are these toolbars in your "normal.dot" template?
If so, you can right-click on the toolbar area, select "Customize", click
the "Toolbars" TAB, select the desired toolbar(s) and delete them here.
