how to change bcm database programatically

I want to write simple application, which will change BCM database location for current user. I have tried to access providers profile section using mapi and have changed properties present there, but it does'nt work. Although when I changed database using standard BCM tool, properties in this section has changed. Where BCM stores information about current database location? Can anyone help?
