How to change audio capture quality

First, let me thank whoever responds to my question =)

I'm captureing video from a firewire camera (sony dv-sompthing) and i was
wondering how to change the quality setting to sompthing not in the list, for
video the 'Video for local playback (2.1Mbps NTSC)' worked nicely, but the
audio come out at 2079kbps ... I was wondering how to change that to 192kbps
compressed, or even 320kbps. Thanks in advanced!
