Excel How to calculate percentage for time

Hi,

My knowledge in excel is a bit rusty. I just need your help on how to get the percentage for time.

For example:
Call duration (minus) talk Time (plus) Valid Hold / 100 = Percentage

I tried doing it on excel but I can;t get the correct percentage.

What percentage are you looking to get? The talk time as a percentage of the total call length would be =B3/A3. Alternatively if you want to get the talk time plus hold/pause/dead air as a percentage of the total call length would be =(B3+C3)/A3.

You will also need to make sure that the cell has the right formatting so that it shows as a percentage. Right click on the cell, select 'Format cells...' and then select Percentage from the list.
