Yes, it's quite easy to bypass your University and to also
make use of high bandwidth.

Buy a connection from someone else.

They own the infrastructure; they make the rules.

How would you feel if someone was writing here asking
how to abuse your home or possession?

Of course if they are being truly unreasonable then a student
or faculty petition to change the rules would be the honest
way to proceed.

The reason you are getting no help here is that most people
who CAN help you are ethical enough not to help people
break the rules imposed by legitimate authorities.

Your university is right and you are wrong. People like you are the
reason that the Internet is so dangerous.

Hank Arnold

Cencorship?

Sounds to me like you are attempting to commit a robbery.

If you are being unethical you should just not ask.

You should PAY someone (else) for your Internet access.

You understand that most of the folks here are likely responsible for
the care and feeding of private networks, much like a university
network. Many are accountable for enforcing the same policies you are
looking to defeat.

Even if the ethics of the matter were not a factor (and they very much
are); it would not make any sense for us to help you make our jobs
harder.

That said, I'll help.
If you really want DVD-quality movies using only the university
internet connection; Try these links, I doubt they'd be filtered by
university policies.

www.netflix.com
www.blockbuster.com
www.qwikfliks.com

Good luck!

One of the reasons the university blocks downloads is that it slows down the
system. If everybody starts doing it, then you'll be complaining that it's
too slow.

As for "not wanting" us to tell you when you are being unethical, too bad;
the university Is "not wanting" you to do these downloads.

all what i want is to know how to bybass Internet Censorship, i just
want to know it just as a knowledge , i will not downlaod a DVD quality
movie because this will take more than 20 hours. and i can get copy of
a dvd movie for 0.5$ from any shop, so why should i downlaod it from
internet. i might download some songs from limewire but i will
download something larger than 100MB becasue this will take alot of
time.

if someone want to tell privately, EMAIL: (e-mail address removed)

We already told you how:

Purchase internet service from a source whose policies
allow you to do what you wish.

Stop trying to find out how to violate your service policies.

It's unethical and I doubt there is anyone here who will help
you cheat.

Hey man, This is Fluffy. I think I can help you. I understand everyon
who replied. I know it does not make sense to you (the ones wh
replied), but it does to us. Please do not be so harsh. There was a
honest question asked. Now, I will help however I can. Take it eas
until I reply

I expect that the Admins locked it down for a reason. What makes you think you
should be allowed to go around that?
