I got this ISG image from retrospect disaster recovery process. I would like
to burn it on a DVD as the ISO image is 720 MB. Nero express would not let
me do that and of course it does not allow burning to CD either.

what can I use?

I can read the ISO image in virtual CP ProPC. Tried set up F as the real
DVD drive, E: connected to the ISO image, but failed to copy and write to F:

The ISO is supposedly bootable

It will likely burn if you have the expert features turned on for
'overburning' in Nero.
Or you could just purchase some 800MB/90minute CD-Rs...

Use nero burning rom application. From the tool bar in nero burning rom,
select recorder and then burn image. Navigate to the ISO, select it. Be sure
your burner is showing in the burn to bar and click burn.

Grab any freeware image burning tool. I'd suggest either StarBurn by
Rocket Division Software (ImageBurner wizard) from here:

www.rocketdivision.com/starburn.html

or ImgBurn from here:

www.imgburn.com

Both should work fine. There's *absolutely* no sense in paying $50+
for Nero if free alternatives solve the task adequately. My $0.02 :)

Thanks!

The subject of this thread implies you are trying to burn an ISO of a CD
onto a DVD. This should never work as they are two different media. The fact
the ISO is greater than 700 megs does not mean it will not "burn" onto a
regular 700Meg/80Min cd as an "image". It does mean you can't burn the ISO
as a data file on a cd. I've had more than a few ISOs on CDs greater than
700 megs and it's not been any problem. Presumably there is some overhead in
what the ISO contains that expands the file past 700megs when it was created
