While eventually we would like to build a actual bootable install disk, for
now we are content to use sdimgr to lay down the os from the network. Now we
need to build (or duplicate) the WinPE bootable disk. Can someone help?

Thanks,
-Bobby

Robert,

WinPE is part of the Windows XP Professional OPK (OEM Pre-Installation Kit)
Contact your MS rep for information about obtaining it. (I believe it comes
with the OEM packs of XP Pro though if you have those lying around).

Actually, I was looking to build a WinPE CD, as well as add some additional
files to be used during mass production. Currently, we are using the XPe
disk 1, and it works great, but I want to be able to boot more than one
machine at a time.

Thanks,

Hi Robert

Use the I368 folder on your Toolit CD.
Use also the HD2ISO.EXE tool in the utility
subdirectory (same as tap.exe)

Best would be:

Copy all files you want to have on the bootable CD to
one directory. Use the HD2ISO to make a ISO file from
this directory. Use i.E. NeroBurningRom to Burn the ISO file
to a bootable device (give Nero a bootable path for this)

That's all...!

Good luck!
